REAL SCOTLAND TOURS

Let us help you enjoy your holiday. Our Tour Guides are all Scottish with an inherent love of their country and deep knowledge of this area. Whether you would like to visit castles or soak up some spectacular scenery, we aim to deliver. Real Scotland Tours - offer a taste of the region of Scotland by providing Scotland tours, Golf tours and Whisky tours. We will encounter rugged coasts and remote wildernesses on our journey.

EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE ABERDEEN TOUR

Aberdeen - a hidden gem! Scotland's third largest city, only two hours from the Central Belt, offers history and architecture the more discerning visitor will be amazed at. With a population of 200000, swelled by our students during term time, it has a traditional fishing and farming base but is now also recognised as the capital of Europe’s offshore oil industry.

EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE SPEYSIDE TOUR

Speyside is an area of outstanding natural beauty which offers the opportunity to catch sight of varied wildlife. The farming land gives way to moors as we climb towards the mountains, the source of that magic Water of Life the base for our Whisky! This area has whisky connoisseurs dizzy just passing the gates of Aberlour - Balvenie - Benromach - Cardhu - GlenGrant - Glenfiddich - The Glenlivet - The Macallan - and the list goes on, more than forty of the BEST.

EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE CASTLE TOURS

We enjoy a large offering of castles in this North East corner of Scotland. A drive down to Stonehaven, fifteen miles south of Aberdeen, allows us to enjoy this lovely fishing town with my favourite castle perched above it. Dunnottar Castle is an iconic Scottish place. The history opens up to the visitor how life was lived over the years at Dunnottar - it all comes alive! Just come with me and we will share the story of the years.

EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE NORTH EAST TOUR

Leaving Aberdeen, we travel west along the River Dee until we arrive at Drum Castle, the ancient seat of the Clan Irvine or Irwyn as was the case in 1325 when the castle and grounds were granted to William de Irwyn by Robert the Bruce! Next, we pass through Banchory, a wonderful little historic town, with the Feugh River offering a view of salmon leaping up the falls. Soon we are in Ballater with its wonderful spring water, once believed to have healing powers and later bottled commercially.

EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE ROYAL DEESIDE TOUR

This takes us along the North East coast from Aberdeen past the Trump golf course to the village of Newburgh with seals forever in attendance along with the Sands of Forvie wild fowl reserve - ducks and waders together with many other feathered friends. On to Cruden Bay, a lovely little village with a small stream flowing through it and the home to Cruden Bay Golf Club, enjoying the position of being one of the top 20 golf courses in the world.

GOLF TOURS

Discover with Real Scotland Tours some of the world’s oldest and best golf courses, all in this area. We have old championship courses, new championship courses, the finest links courses and indeed the highest golf course in the UK. Regardless of your handicap, we can accommodate you on a course to suit your ability to book with us for a planned golfing experience.

EXCELLENT FEEDBACK

“It was a pleasure having Bill as our Tour guide, my mom and me had lots of fun through out the tour. Bill made us fall in love with Aberdeen, seeing the beautiful sights of the town, countryside, up hills, the beach and the historical castles. we will surely come back for more. Thank you Bill for all the lovely stories and memories Tour.”

“My husband, son and I were in Aberdeen at the end of April. Bill not only was knowledgeable and funny but very thoughtful. When we gave Bill our list of interests he went beyond the call of duty giving us the history behind our locations & also recent news giving high praise to Aberdeen and Scotland itself. We wanted to see a golf course, castle and distillery. Bill knowing we might be strapped for time to fit it all in, asked if we could forego a castle and trust him on a location that was one of his favourites. We said yes and it was absolutely perfect. He took us to Olmeldrum to the Meldrum House and we were thrilled. We would highly recommend Bill.”
